Swim with Dolphins
You can't appreciate quite how wonderful it is to spend time in the water with dolphins until you experience it for yourself. At Discovery Cove there's the chance to give dolphins a much-appreciated tummy tickle and grab a ride holding onto a dorsal fin. The trainers will even teach you to communicate with them using hand signals.
Busch Gardens puts a new SPIN on family thrills in 2016 with Cobra's Curse! This isn’t your ordinary spin coaster. This one-of-a-kind coaster takes riders on a whirlwind of family fun and an adventure of exciting explorations. After ascending on a vertical lift, just like an elevator, riders will come face-to-face with an 80-foot snake icon and trek over the park’s Serengeti Plain®.
Surfacing in summer 2016 is Mako, a 200-foot-tall hypercoaster that will reach speeds of up to 73 mph along 4,760-feet of steel track — nearly a mile long — leaving riders feeling both breathless and weightless. The ride, which will open at SeaWorld Orlando, will be the tallest, fastest and longest coaster in Orlando.
The world’s longest drop tower multi-slide ride of its kind is now open at Aquatica! Standing at nearly 80-feet tall and with a vertical drop measuring 40-feet long, Ihu’s Breakaway Falls features four different slides each boasting the steepest and tallest 360-degree spirals in the southern United States!
Now open at Busch Gardens Tampa is Falcon’s Fury, the first drop tower of its kind in the world, mimicking the dive speeds of the fastest animal on earth! Falcon’s Fury stands at 335 feet and takes riders plunging 60 mph straight down.
Explore the frozen wildernesses of Antarctica through the eyes of the world’s most loved bird - the penguin. Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin takes you on a journey like no other to the coldest and most barren place on earth with a state-of-the-art interactive ride combined with an animal attraction.
Two words to inspire fear in the hardiest of coaster riders: Manta and Kraken. Manta has you flying like a ray, face-down and head-first, through mind-boggling spins, inversions, and massive drops. The experience on Kraken is just as intense, and you'll reach speeds of up to 65 mph through seven loops, while your feet dangle in the air.
Unique experiences let you meet some of the parks' stars in person. In the 75-minute Behind the Scenes Tour you can see how SeaWorld Orlando cares for rescued manatees and sea turtles, and even touch a shark and penguin.
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment provides a fabulous experience for all the family – even the little ones. At SeaWorld Orlando they'll love watching sharks cruise past behind the glass while eating at the Sharks Underwater Grill®, and Clyde and Seamore's Sea Lion High® will have them in stitches. Plus there's kiddie rides galore at Shamu's Happy Harbor®. Head over to Sesame Street Safari of Fun at Busch Gardens and you’ll find plenty of rides, shows and adventures designed especially for children. They’ll also love seeing the giraffe, zebra, antelope and many more from the Serengeti Railway. Cool things down at Kata's Kookaburra Cove® at Aquatica which has slides, rides and silly, splashy fun for tiny tots too young to even walk.
Best of the Rest
There's plenty more to keep you occupied other than animals and rides at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. The Waterfront Village at SeaWorld Orlando is full of restaurants and shops, and there are regular live music concerts and events scheduled throughout the year at both SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens.
