Naples pier on the main beach reaches 1000 ft out into the Gulf and is an essential part of Naples USA holidays. It's a firm favourite with fishermen and lovely place to stroll or watch the flaming sun sink into the Gulf at sunset. If you peer down into the water you can often spot dolphins and stingrays too.
The two shopping Meccas in Olde Naples are upscale Third Street and Fifth Avenue, both lined with smart clothes shops, boutiques, galleries and antiques stores. There are some heavy-hitting malls too if your wallet can take the strain, including the Village on Venetian and Waterside Shops, complete with Saks Fifth Avenue and Gucci.

Get away from it all on 166 acres of open beach with tropical foliage and an emphasis on eco, including a boat dock, a designated fishing zone, and a reef for snorkelers. There's ranger-led sea turtle and birding tours, plus if you bring a kayak you can explore the area's estuaries, swamps and creeks.
