Far View Lodge is located 15 miles inside Mesa Verde National Park. The traditional Western decor of the lobby and dining room, fantastic views, warm hospitality and superb dining welcome you for an unforgettable vacation.

The lodge was designed to reflect the true essence of Mesa Verde, with solitude all around you and freedom from the distraction of in-room TVs or cell phone service but plenty of wildlife watching. From your private balcony there are fabulous stargazing opportunities to enhance your vacation. For your convenience, our guest rooms and lobby feature free wireless Internet.

Room Description: Luxury & Comfort of the Southwest. Custom handcrafted furniture combines modern comfort and old-world craftsmanship to bring character and luxury to your surroundings. Rooms have private bath (some with shower only). All have views of the Four Corners region, but will overlook roads and/or other buildings.

Located close to Far View Lodge and the Far View Visitor center, Far View Terrace Café is the perfect place to take in a great meal – and an unforgettable view.

Casual food-court setting features build-your-own breakfast burrito and omelet station, a yogurt bar and standard breakfast fare. For lunch, daily specials including our signature Navajo Tacos, build your own sandwich bar, a pasta bar and salad station. We make every effort to offer sustainable foods that are grown and harvested with respect for the land.


Metate Room Restaurant

Mesa Verde Metate Room Restaurant received "Award of Culinary Excellence" from the American Culinary Federation Colorado Chefs Association in the area of sustainable cuisine. Colorful Native American artwork surrounds you as you enjoy our award winning, contemporary menu inspired by regional heritage foods and flavorings. The Ancestral Puebloans raised corn, beans and squash, gathered nuts and herbs, and hunted wild game. Chef Brian Puett celebrates this culture, incorporating these foods together with contemporary favorites and a comprehensive wine list including fine Colorado Wines.

Patio Dining at it's best! Stop at Spruce Tree Terrace Café, located in the heart of the park, for favorite American classics and Southwest specialties. Convenient cafeteria service with indoor and patio dining offering a seasonally updated menu filled with fresh, delicious appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Be sure not to miss our popular Navajo Tacos!
