Day 1: London - Boston
Fly from London to Boston, arriving the same day, and make your way downtown. Dinner this evening will be a treat with restaurants of every flavour to choose from. Try authentic Italian in North End or fresh seafood at America���s oldest restaurant, Ye Olde Union Oyster House. Stay 3 nights at the Hyatt Regency Boston or similar.
Day 2-3: Boston
Boston is a fascinating blend of sophistication, culture and historic New England charm. Wander through a world-class selection of museums, uncover the city’s revolutionary history by walking the famous Freedom Trail, or shop until you drop. From the upscale boutiques of Newbury streets to the outlet malls around downtown Boston, the options are endless! If you want to sit and have a rest, why not take a cruise along the St Charles River or watch the Red Sox play at Fenway Park, the oldest major league park in America.
Day 4: Boston to Hyannis (approx. 110 miles)
Pick up your hire car today and drive either along the ‘Pilgrim’s Highway’ or the coastal Rt 3A to Cape Cod. If you pick the coastal route, you’ll pass the historic shipbuilding town of Quincy, the pretty Old Scituate Lighthouse and Rivermoor Habitat Park along the way. Stay 4 nights at the Holiday Inn Cape Cod - Hyannis (or similar).
Day 5-7: Cape Cod
ape Cod has it all. Beach fans have 560 miles of pristine sand to stretch out on. Nature lovers will be enthralled by the whale, seal and bird watching. Outdoor activists will be in their element with beautiful walking and biking trails, more than 50 golf courses, sailing and kayaking. And culture vultures will lap up the museums, galleries and fine theatre. In Provincetown, don’t miss a visit to the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum. The monument commemorates the first landing of the Mayflower Pilgrims and boasts spectacular views from its summit. The quirky museum offers an insight into the history of the region and plenty more besides!
Day 8: Hyannis to London
