My America Holiday Top Tips
Purchase your tickets in advance
In simple terms there really is no good reason to leave booking your tickets till the last minute. You will not have to wait in line at the entrance and be able to breeze through the queues of people attempting to buy their tickets at the gate giving you more time to enjoy and experience the parks themselves.
Here at My America Holiday we make it easy for you to tailor-make your dream holiday. This includes the ability to add theme park tickets to your booking with us, making it easier for you to plan and manage your holiday as everything is provided and easily accessible in one place. We can organise 3 for 2 Tickets to SeaWorld Parks for your family, their best value offering is only available before you fly and comes with FREE unlimited parking!
Be there early
To ensure that you can fit the most into your day you should aim to arrive before the parks are set to open, this is very important if you are trying to experience the majority of a park in one day.
Download the App
You may not know this, but SeaWorld & Busch Gardens provide their customers with an official app to help them navigate and plan a trip to their parks. We recommend downloading this app prior to your visit as this will allow you to plan out your day at any of the parks and make the most of your trip.
Dress for the weather
The weather in Florida is notoriously hot and humid especially around the summer months (June – September) and as such you should ensure that you and your family bare this in mind when deciding what to wear for your day at any of the SeaWorld Parks. We also recommend checking the weather forecast regularly before your trip as despite Florida being known as the sunshine state the weather is known to change quickly with rain always being a possibility.
As mentioned previously the weather in Orlando can be notoriously difficult to predict with the possibility of flash summer showers always being a risk. SeaWorld Parks also offer various water based rides so there is a strong chance on your visit to any of the SeaWorld Parks you may get wet. With that in mind we suggest packing a poncho on your visit. They are easy to buy, as most shops in the area will sell them & are also lightweight and easy to carry around.
Plan your shows at SeaWorld
SeaWorld is known for its incredible shows and as such you can expect that the shows tend to fill up quickly. SeaWorld tend to offer a limited number of demonstrations per day and we would recommend that customers take note and plan the shows that they wish to see either once arriving at the parks or before visiting by using the app. We also would suggest arriving at shows around 20 - 30 minutes before the advertised start time to ensure your spot. Guests can also buy one-time reserved seating for SeaWorld's most popular shows with the Signature Show Seating Park Extra.
Our favourite show is Clyde & Seamore's Sea Lion High, where you can laugh out loud at this silly sea lion comedy adventure and not to be missed is the theatrical spectacular of Dolphin Days.
Quick Queue® Unlimited
SeaWorld and Busch Garden’s give customers the ability to buy Quick Queue passes that allow visitors to experience the SeaWorld Parks with minimal queuing. This can be a real game-changer for visitors to the parks during peak times as the more popular rides tend to have long queue times.
Quick Queue allows you to skip the regular lines and enjoy front-of-the-line access to the park's most popular attractions such as Mako, Manta, Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld and Cobra's Curse, Falcon's Fury and Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens - to name just a few of the included rides!
Wear appropriate shoes
A visit to any of the SeaWorld Parks will require a fair amount of walking and as such it is important that you wear comfortable & durable shoes. The last thing that you want to experience on your trip to one of these amazing parks is blisters.
Bring water and sun cream
On your trip to any of the SeaWorld Parks the chances are you are going to spend a lot of time in the sun and you should make sure that you prepare for this. Packing sun cream and water makes sure that everyone on your trip will be able to enjoy their time at the SeaWorld Parks without sunburn or heatstroke which could potentially ruin your holiday.
If you need to cool down and keep out of the Florida sunshine for a bit we would highly recommend visiting Antartica: Empire of the Penguin whilst at SeaWorld. The penguin habitat is home to 250 penguins and is a chilly -1°C!
