Fun for the Littl'uns
There's lots of fun in store for pre-schoolers on Legoland Florida holidays - particularly in Duplo Valley, which is specially designed for the under-fives. Ride a train through the Lego countryside; enjoy soft play at the Farm; search for missing animals while trundling on a tractor; build Duplo blocks at the Tot Spot; and splash around at Splash & Play.
There's four pink-knuckle rollercoasters to ride - pitched just right to give kids a thrill, but not to scare them senseless! The Dragon takes riders through a dragon's lair with spins, turns and drops; Coastersaurus curves and dips through a prehistoric jungle; at Project X the ride is all about racing a life-size LEGO® TECHNICTM vehicle along the track; and Flying School is a suspended coaster with swoops and dives.
The Legoland Water park has rides, slides and plenty of splashy fun for all ages. Pools come with waves or without for all swimming abilities, and there's the chance to design and build your own Lego raft so you can float it down the lazy river. Thrill seekers will love the Twin Chasers flumes and the Splash Out drop slide.
There's live shows at Legoland Florida too. 'The Big Test' is full of acrobatics, clowning and fire engine fun but teaches an important message: fire safety. And at Pirate's Cove you can see 'The Battle for Brickbeard’s Bounty', jam-packed with gravity-defying water ski stunts guaranteed to have everyone 'ooohing and 'aaahing'.
As if Legoland wasn't enough, the theme parks of Orlando are less than hour away, meaning the fun goes on and on. The many kingdoms of DisneyWorld, Universal Studios/Universal Islands of Adventure, and SeaWorld/Discovery Cove are all within easy reach - not to mention the countless attractions of International Drive.
